A wonderful Time To Remember

An Interview with Kampala North stake President

I am a leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and members call me President. My role is to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ as well to strengthen them to learn about eternal Father to enable us be able to return and live with Him. We have three stakes in uagnda namely; North Kampala stake, South Kampala stake and Jinja stake.

The Church is organized into units and each one of them is headed by a bishop or District leader.

Today is a very special day in our lives because one of the senior Apostles of the Church, Elder Gary Stevenson visitation to Uganda. He is God’s apostle. In the New Testament, Apostle Paul wrote letters to his people but for us members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints have an opportunity to not only hear from him but see him physically and this is a wonderful and fulfilling experience for each and every one of us.

We have twelve apostles and a prophet who leads and guides the Church worldwide. You can say they are disciples of Jesus Christ and they are ordained by God to watch over His people on His behalf. Elder Gary is assigned to the South east Area. He taught us to love another and seek to serve one another through a holier way and known as Ministering.

He continues to inform us that The Church should not only remain at Church but should also be taken in our homes. On families, he acknowledged that families are forever and will never end but live eternally with God. He asked us to sustain and prayed for our dear President Museveni including all those around him down to our local leaders.
